Following the success of our two off-sites in 2024, we are kicking off the Cherry Blossom season with another overnight stay on the rocky, windy coast of Kamakura, following a spiritually nourishing tour of the area's "power spots", hidden temples, secret museums, and not least, refined coffee and tea shops.

Building on last year's proven model, we will meet at 2pm at Kita-Kamakura station for a local tour, before checking in at the hotel, where we will be privately treated to a selection of premium local produce cooked to perfection by the hotel chefs.

  • Have you decided to "Move the Needle" in 2025? Why? Why not?

  • Are you going to do something different? What?

  • How much risk do you think you are taking by departing from routine?

  • What is your plan to hedge the risk? What is your plan B if it goes wrong?

  • On the other hand, have you thought about how to "scale" if things go unexpectedly well?

  • Have you considered "unintended consequences"? Maybe exhausting your team, or irritating partners?

  • How did you prepare for the change?

  • Are you operating impulsively, or do you test everything thoroughly?

  • A leader's main quality is to bring the group along with him. How are you communicating these changes with your team, and motivating them to follow your vision?

The idea is to enjoy quality time with your family at home on Friday and Saturday, then head to Kita-Kamakura after lunch on Saturday. You’ll return Sunday morning after breakfast, giving you the rest of the weekend—including Monday, a national holiday—to spend with your loved ones.

Last year, we covered AI (a topic which has only accelerated) and B2C. But this year, we will kick off with the following topics, each of which attendees should bring their best thoughts and ideas on:
